Recut and his label Recut Music have been making our feet move and ears tingle for a relatively short time, and with this forth release for the artist and label, he delves into the vaults of House for a collection of reworks and inspired grooves.
Disco Chicago is a four track vinyl release of house reworks and reimaginings that have been cleverly chosen for their obvious original quality and but also ability to be able to work his magic to bring to the dancefloors of 2022. There is nothing new in the technique as with disco edits and re-works, but the subtleties and brilliantly clever arrangements of parts across the tracks really pay homage to the original works and sounds of the late 80s, but at the same time, add something quite unique in creation that bring them to a new generation of dancers with production and sound quality while retaining the classic analogue vibes.
