June sees another motor city DJ head to London on 23 June as Alton Miller joins Area 51.
Area 51 at SEDITION in Old Street took off in May with the ace Mike Huckaby the first guest in a run of forthcoming parties. Step up for June Alton Miller, one of America’s deep house pioneers and one of the men responsible for setting up the legendary Music Institute club in Detroit in 1988. Alton has had a long and relevant career in house music ever since and his fabulous DJ sets take in deep, afro and soulful house from across the decades.
In addition we have one of Londons great house heads in support. Rap Saunders is well known in the London house community, whether as head buyer at the famous Black Market Records or his SoulMates parties alongside Dennis Christensen, who will also be alongside him on this very night. Finally in the main room will be LHM and The DATE Stuart Patterson, making up this proper house line up. Although the line up is to follow, the intimate room 2 will be a class mix of disco old and new.
