On 9 September, LondonHouseMusic join forces with Soul Picnic to provide a unique party with 3 boats sailing you down the River Lea through the afternoon to the final destination and party in Hackney Wick, with the ace Ashley Beedle a special guest on the day/night!
Three boats at different times will be sailing from the pick up point on the River Lea beside Markfield Park. The first two boats will be family friendly so kids are welcome, as they are at the final land side venue, the fantastic Stour Space, but only until 6pm. However there is a complimentary return boat trip for the families to get home.
The last boat from Markfield Park will leave at 7.30pm. This will be a strictly adults only boat. Music will be the usual Soul Picnic blend of soul, reggae, house, afro and disco – see you there!
Once at Stour Space, the final destination, music will be providing by the brilliant Ashley Beedle, Stuart Patterson, Dom Mandrell, Ece Duzgit, Michael Lomotey and Patrick Richmond.
