Timmy Regisford is celebrating 25 years of his most influential Shelter party this year and we, with the help of The Doctors Orders and Makin’ Moves are lucky enough that the NYC legend has agreed to play a 4 hour set with us on Saturday 18 June.
The inception of his internationally acclaimed Club Shelter parties in NYC in 1991 helped pioneer the soulful house music sound that has shaped the face of house music today. To say we are excited is an understatement and having experienced his sets in the venues basement in the past, we know London is in for a very big treat.
The night, House vs Disco, does exactly what it says on the tin. Quality disco and house, both old and new rub shoulders with Makin Moves Jamesy and LHM’s Stuart Patterson joining Mr Regisford in the booth.
