Crackazat is always one to listen out for, with a host of great releases on some of our favourite labels, plus his creative album on Z Records last year. So when he teams up with Heist Recordings, you know you are in for a treat.
There aren’t any surprises but this isn’t meant as a negative. He continues to combine sounds from deep, detroit, soulful, disco and jazz influenced house into his creations, and all find their way into the three original creations on this quality offering. When you add Rick Wade into the mix as well, who does a wonderous job of taking the high energy title track and taking it to a deeper more atmospheric level, you have an EP that is complete and of the highest order.
