The DATE summer Day and Night party, 18 August

Over the course of 13 hours, The DATE will deliver their Disco marathon with a day/night affair in East London, with special guest Ron Basejam (Crazy P).

On Saturday 18 August, a line up of some quality will be taking over the garden of a cheeky local pub, The Eagle, near Old Street for an early evening session before rolling down the stairs underground club SEDITION just a few seconds away from 10.30pm and partying through until dawn.

The DATE have hosted parties across London and welcomed the finest house and disco DJs from across the globe including Frankie Knuckles, Nicky Siano, Danny Krivit, Kerri Chandler, Joey Negro, Greg Wilson, Tony Humphries, Rahaan, Maurice Fulton, Danny Wang and many more. It has been a while since they have found a venue they can call home, however, with SEDITION it seems they have the perfect underground space with quality sound system which is the club they have been looking for.

This August party will see Ron Basejam (Crazy P) as special guest in the club and he will be joined by The DATE residents and main men Stuart Patterson and Tim Keenoy, plus Brighton’s Pablo Contraband on the main dance floor for a mix of future disco, plenty of edits and a touch of house. In the intimate second room the Bustin’ Loose crew add original 70’s and 80’s disco that started it all.

The Eagle Pub free evening session starts at 5pm and The Size Doesn’t Matter gang (Si Kurrage, Mr Shiver and Michael Mastomic) drop an alfresco mix of soul, afro, disco and boogie and there’s a BBQ to sustain you through the night.
