The Date is now two years old following their very special birthday celebrations which saw another sell out party welcome two disco legends in Kenny Carpenter and Greg Wilson. A incredible night ensued and you can take a peak at some of the goings on via our galleries page.
On bank holiday Sunday 24 August at The Loft Studios, The Date returns with a carnival special and in addition to alreadly known guests including Rahaan and Jimpster, we can now confirm that the full line up also includes Mike Huckaby (Detroit), DJ Spen, Phil Asher and much more.
This will be a very special event as both rooms will be packed with talent, plus the courtyard will also be getting a Balearic soundtrack.
In room one Mike Huckaby (Detroit), Jimpster, Stuart Patterson, Marcia Carr and Katie Barber do the house and techno while room two goes disco with DJ Spen, Rahaan, Phil Asher, Tim Keenoy and Dave Jarvis. Plus carnival goes Balearic with Nancy Noise and Mr Shiver outside in the courtyard.
