Londoner Clive From Accounts has had a pretty decent time of things of late, releasing some top class music on Dirt Crew around a year ago and in between on Razor N Tape and his own label Income Trax. So come full circle and out now we have the new EP Pearls on Dirt Crew Records.
Comprising of three original tracks, it features melodic electronic deep house alongside funk laden creative bouncing house beats. The rolling funk fuelled groove heavy ‘4 Time’ takes my pick of the three, an absolute beaut of a track! But don’t take my word for it, have a listen and make your own mind up below.
However, ‘Gravitate’ the highly rated track from the Accountants first release on Dirt Crew last year, has been giving pride of place as the closer on the vinyl release. This is actually a really decent idea from DC and I think a perfect addition to the physical release, although maybe a remix of it could have been an alternative option? Either way we don’t mind!
