The last time we came across Ben Sun on our site was covering the Razor-n-Tape Family Affair compilation which brought together artists and producers who had dropped records for the label or were due to. Well Ben Sun has released his Distant Messenger EP and it’s a goodun’.
Having released on some quality imprints over the last 10+ years, he is making moves for 2022 with this and a forthcoming on Phonica in the near future. This EP though for Razor-n-Tape has four original creations with underlying soul and a forward thinking sound, while each moving in their own individual direction of offering a nod to classic US House sounds.
