On Friday 5 September, there will be a rare opportunity to catch New York legend Danny Krivit play an exclusive 4 hour set at the intimate but perfectly formed basement club of the Ace Hotel.
A bona fide legend of the disco and house scene – mixing with the likes of Larry Levan at The Loft in the club’s heyday, as well as The Paradise Garage – Danny has been a pivotal DJ in New York for the past four decades. He is also one third of the world famous Body&Soul parties, established in 1996 alongside promoter Jon Davis and fellow DJs Francois Kevorkian and Joe Claussell.
Support comes from Jocks&Nerds Music Events Programmer Stuart Patterson, a key figure for 15 years within the London club scene and currently co-owner of the recently opened Love Vinyl store in Hoxton, as well as promoter for The Date at Loft studios.
‘Amp presents Danny Krivit’ will be held as part of Jocks&Nerds magazine’s ‘Amp’ series of parties, an exploration of London’s club culture of the past 30 years.
